A test strategy in software testing is a set of guiding principles that decides on the test design and specifies how the software testing process will be carried out. This set of guiding principles is also known as a test plan. The purpose of the Test Strategy is to offer a methodical strategy for the software testing process in order to ensure quality, traceability, reliability, and improved planning. This will be accomplished by providing a more organised approach.
