Mohammad Butt was easier to understand and very good and helped a lot but he was my 2nd call. I had called earlier in the day and got a lady that was very hard to understand and even after a 1 hour 50 minute call we weren’t much closer to getting the cert moved. I was moving the cert from a Windows server with IIS to a Linux server with Apache2.
Excellent support from Muhammad Butt, ECS support team. Help to install ADFS certificate in both FS and proxy server over beyond my expectation.
We recently just switched over to Entrust last month, and I am still amazed how smooth this process has been. I went from waiting hours or days on getting certs issued from Symantec, to like almost 1 or 2 minutes with Entrust. We should have done this years ago.
I researched multiple Certificate Authorities and compared costs. ENTRUST was competitive with all other vendors and with their current special were the best price. The setup was straight forward enough and when I did have questions the technical support was great.
I’ve worked with Entrust for two years now and the product and service they provide has been outstanding. The online resources are great and I appreciate the outreach and training they provide, as well.
My company (Florida Hospital) has transferred all SSL roles to Entrust. We have received excellent goods and assistance, in particular in the following areas: 1. The online management system makes giving, renewing and canceling certificates absolutely painless. We can monitor the inventory, obtain the expiration notice, and track the issue at a single location. 1. Our Account Manager (Lisa Bosley-Kingdon) is an excellent tool for gathering information on the various types of certificates and other Entrust items. This has deals with the extension of our Platinum contract with great attention to detail and ensures that we are made aware of the latest offers provided by our Platinum contract. 3. Their help is able to answer all the questions that have been raised, and to address any problems that I have encountered. Their response time is outstanding, and I was pleased with the results of all the experiences I had with them.
Lisa Bosley has been the account manager for the University of Miami for more than 8 + years, and Lisa has consistently delivered the best customer support for the program. Entrust has been amazing! We haven’t leveraged it as well as we can, because we’ve been moving ahead on a range of other initiatives. Nevertheless, the propensity of the SMB markets to disregard local internal certifications as well as to get SSL certifications working has proven to be obsolete and unconsidered. Entrust is a magic bullet that not only lets us get things up fast, but also lets us actively get the security certificates out while being able to easily navigate the SSL environment of our clients.

Our (my project) partnership with Entrust began with a phone call to David Grossbendt, Entrust Datacard Account Executive, and we were up and running in no time. Our partnership then grew deeper as we collaborated with their support teams via talks, emails, phone calls, etc. In all cases, we have very good advice and strategies, even in some very tricky situations! Sure, I have put my faith in Entrust!
The ability to see the status of all of the certificates in one location online is significant. Knowing when a certificate is up for renewal at a glance on the screen is great. Uploading .crt files and getting the answer files in a minimal timeframe is reassuring. Superb online utility.

Let me start by saying that I was in a slight panic when I called the support line, because our certificate that we are currently using expires in a few days. I called for the help and I called Issa Zaid. I clarified to him that I had been working on this for a few days, and I couldn’t get it to work in the keystore. I had asked Issa if instead of emailing the errors back and forth I could share my screen and he instantly had me share my screen. He made me show him exactly what I was doing and he had seen what was wrong with me. Rather than trying to work on what I had he said let’s start fresh from the start. He sent me every command I needed through the text window of the webinars and within 15 minutes he had solved the problem and waited until I had installed the certificates into the jar file and then waited for the application to be fully checked with the new jar file before we closed the webinar. He had saved a lot of time and aggravation for me. Issa I just want to say Fantastic work and really thank you!

Entrust Certificate Services are excellent.
We began the process of moving our SSL certs towards Entrust. When we learned that our code signing cert was going to expire in only a few days, so we would need more assurance than with our SSL certs, Jen was very helpful in expediting our request so helping to make sure that all went smoothly and efficiently so that our releases were not delayed.
We use Entrust to buy and maintain all our Digital Public Certificates. SSL certificates are such an valuable safety tool, and it is simple and easy to use the Entrust portal to buy and manage the certificates.
I wasn’t sure the best way to renew my SAN cert, and at the same time introduce new common names. I sent an email to help Entrust, and it produced a trouble ticket for me. They called back in a couple of hours and walked me through the process and helped fix a problem with Exchange understanding the new cert (in addition to the local computer store, they needed to copy the new cert to the Consumer Personal shop).
Received excellent support and quick response. Very helpful interactions with knowledgeable support staff.
Overall I found Entrust’s customer service excellent. While I was not completely acquainted with the technical aspects of their multi-domain certificates, the first person I talked to was able to link me to a Sales Executive who was very knowledgeable and able to help me find out the best option for my needs, which turned out to be the UC Multi-Domain SSL certificate. We have 2 websites hosted on the same server for a total of 4 FQDNs, with each website having a French and English domain name. It’s awesome being able to get all of these on one certificate! In under a day, the validation process was completed. In the certificate generation method, I ran into a few snags, including IIS 8.5 on Windows Server 2012 generating a 1024-bit encryption certificate request by default only to find that Entrust wanted a 2048-bit encryption request. At least the error message given was sufficiently clear to help me quickly fix the issue. Once the certificate was created and activated it worked as planned. I have no doubts about Entrust’s recommendation for their outstanding customer service.
Having worked with several SSL providers in the past, I find that in terms of their customer service, Entrust is clearly leagues ahead and makes us feel respected as a customer. The technical support is excellent if we have to report a service accident, have direct access to a 3rd level support engineer in a matter of minutes and whenever they manage to solve our problems. Our account manager understands our business and when we need it, provides the right level of support and service.
Control of Certificates: Entrust has greatly enhanced the user interface for certificate management. I can handle our 120 + certificates much better, and can more effectively prepare our SHA1-> SHA2 migration strategy. Customer Service: In the past 4 years, I have called customer support several times, and there has been only one case where I have had an adverse experience. And in that context I have been able to provide constructive feedback to make the customer context better. Account Management-Our account manager is extremely sensitive and while I may not always be able to contact her on the phone, she usually responds within one hour of sending an email. She has also been very helpful in helping me handle our company account and offering the best possible solutions based on our use of certificates.
Entrust has been an important partner to help our business handle 600 + SSL certificates. Their customer service is always polite and supportive. Weâ€TMve never had a problem they couldnâ€TMt resolve in just a few minutes or hours. Our account rep (Tanya Oostrom) is extremely sensitive to our needs and addresses them. I would recommend somebody Entrust!

This was a fairly easy purchase by the management team and support team. We had to buy a Hardware Protection Token and that took a while but downloading and using the Adobe CDS certificate was straightforward once the Entrust people enlightened me about some misconceptions I had. I needed a lot of hand holding because this was the first time I set this up and people were always eager to help and very positive about the support. Now that I understand a bit more, I ‘m sure their online dashboard will make the next purchase really quick (and there’ll be more).

Since my first interaction with Entrust I have been completely satisfied with the ease and speed of obtaining SSL certificates. Their tech support is efficient and complete. On top of that their sales staff are the most professional I have ever encountered.
While I was searching for SSL certificates for my Cisco UC environment, I was having trouble with one of the “budget” competitors at Entrust. Although their price was lower than I paid with Entrust, this was a real get for the experience you ‘re paying for. Their customer service was all right, but having someone on the phone who really knew something about SSL for use in UC environments took ages. I had NOT this Entrust issue. I was briefly and instantly referred to an engineer after meeting someone already competent with SSL, to check my more specific questions. Access to my portal was given after verification and attestations were issued immediately. My Account Executive has been with me to provide advice and support on every step of the way. To have world-class support definitely worth the extra cost.

We have migrated away from Symantec / Verisign, who used to be the hill ‘s king in this area and it has been a great experience so far. Entrust had better equipment, and a much better experience of support. They’ve put extra effort into working with us on the side of the private certificate to test it out and make sure it works great for us.

Entrust EV SSL certificates are exceptionally well-validated, giving my users improved confidence of the validation assurance of the “EV” quality of these certificates. The provisioning process and self-service functionality is great for us to move as quickly as we want in managing our certificates.
We purchased some wildcard certificates and I had a couple of questions so I picked up the phone and phoned. I talked to Patrick who answered all of my questions, offered the opportunity to invoice and got a presales engineer on the phone to address deeper technical problems. Hello to everyone, To be honest I’m pretty new to Entrust ECS (8 months), but due to its friendly user interface I got the hang of it very fast. I’m very happy with behind-the-scenario product and its team. The support team and our UK account manager Julie James make things much simpler and more user-friendly, and are always there when needed. The customers need to have a super understanding and still give it the best to help out when needed. I have never given out an unresolved problem on the support side or the product side. And I can tell we’ve made a lot of odd requests and we’ve always got a solution. I can see that customer service is very broad and that’s what makes the work with Entrust so so fantastic. Also when our account manager and the ECS support staff were out of town, they were able to address our needs very quickly. Even when things were difficult with EV’s, name changes, branches, clients, etc., they were still able to serve us very well. For Entrust CMS platform we have produced nearly 200 Entrust SSL certificates of different types. That was very enjoyable. There is a straight forward method for the authentication process and we get the certificates instantly after this has been completed. When we needed support we still quickly got really professional assistance. Brilliant provider!

They make it sooo difficult each time I try to use Entrust. Maybe it’s because I’m not in the U.S., but their Australisia office is horrible, very bad customer service, and it seems like a very amaturable setup and when I try to ring up, their offices for us / canada are still shut down. Their quality is not sustainable and I want to step on.
We have used a competitor for some time to manage the PKI. Although the service offered by the competitor was also excellent, Entrust’s PKI has a much simpler billing / renewal model, an interface that is easier to use, and saves considerable costs by having less licenses and being able to reuse the revoked certificate licenses. Additionally, it is easier to share certificates with 3rd parties because of the way certificates are delivered, say for SaS solutions. Finally, the cost per certificate was considerably lower regardless. Although we only used the services of Entrust for a very short time, it has already clearly defined its advantages and we are very happy about that.
At Entrust, Sam Teriaky is great to work with, and gets quick answers. I ‘m happy that we went over Symantec with them for our certificate needs; we’ve saved a lot of money on this route, but they don’t sacrifice a lot. I really like their intuitive soft token and other safety features, and I am sure that we have made a sound decision.
Had a billing issue, certificate expiry and all of our budget process happened at once. It was the coming of a train wreck. I asked Entrust, out of desperation, if they would help me out. They were super cool and versatile, and came through … INTERVIEW. I’ve worked previously with other Cert folks. These customer service guys beat everyone. Nice work.
Just, I had an problem with some certificates that I had just obtained for some new installations. I had unintentionally purchased and built certificates with 1 year expirations instead of the usual 2 due to several reasons. This problem could potentially backfire some of our ventures. At Entrust, I contacted our business development manager, Sam Teriaky, who was quite supportive and helped us to solve the problem very quickly. Because of Sam our ventures are back on track. I highly recommend Entrust as the vendor of choice for certificates!
I have spent some years working with Entrust. Their tool for managing certificates is simple to use and enables us to issue our own certificates as required. We are attentive when the need for technical assistance arises, and address our problems quickly and with great professionalism.
Before this year, Entrust was superb in their support but lately reverse is the case, I’ve been following up on an issue for over seven months (Change of Company Name)with several mails, support calls, online support form etc. but none has proven successful. I am actually looking for a new, better service firm.
It sometimes is difficult logging into Entrust.
With Entrust it is very easy to buy, support, renew and revoke certificates. I buy with a credit card and it takes me only a few minutes to get a certificate, literally! And, if you ever have a issue, they ‘re on hand to get a resolution on a matter. Revoking and re-issuing is something of a breeze.

For the most part I like using Entrust. When ordeing new certificates, it can be a little problematic. I would like to add CSR and then tell me how much additional charge there would be for my account.

The website is very user friendly. Self-sufficiency is straight forward. After so many are bought from the site, I would like to see a discount apply. Maybe offering safe storage for both the private key as well as the certificates created on the Entrust website. When we were to switch over the cert to a new server, it would be good to get all the details in addition to the cert, including private key. Or an off-site pfx file. Jay fuckin
Used for the invidively handling certificates. After switching to the managed services, it is no longer difficult to handle SSL certs and keep them updated. (The ability to “recycle” certificates is perfect for setup reset or error recovery)
We moved to Entrust a little over a year ago and we were extremely pleased with the move!! We bought several certificates up front to cover the conversion of all our server certificates to be entrusted and the whole process went smoothly. Now when we need another certificate, we contact purchasing and once they have made the purchase the certificates are available for us to use immediately. When the web team moved to a new server, some changes were made that required us to renew new certificates and that was a breeze with the Entrust management. Only once did I have to contact support and they replied to my question within an hour.

We have a variety of ssl certificates and they expire at various times, so renewing at different times is very time consuming. Can Entrust synchronize the renewals, or what is the point of unified communications?

I have an Entrust account, and can create my own certificates as needed. I may also revoke and reissue certificates which are no longer in use. I use SSL certificates to your advantage and they work great. I built them with no problems on loads of web pages. Technical support is good, and good customer support. I suggest Confidence.

Issuing SSL certificates via CMS is very simple; however, issuing code signing certificates is a little more complex. The chat function on your broswer is a very convenient feature. I use it all the time.
